The GENI online entry system developed by Bendigo IT, is an exciting online system which Royal South Street use to make entering our competition much easier. The system delivers a wide range of benefits and information not previously available to you. Since last year there have been a number of small changes and enhancments to make the entry process smoother for you.
If you haven't used GENI before or are a little rusty and are experiencing difficulty please don’t hesitate to contact us on (03) 5332 1054 during business hours. We are happy to talk you through your online entry over the phone.
1. View the 2011 Syllabus online - and print out or record all the items you wish to enter. NB: There are no printed versions of this publiction anymore, this is an online publication only.
2. Ensure that you have your credit card available, payment is required at the time of entry. Secure payment is offered online via credit card. Any information you have entered will only be saved for 24 hours in the system, if online payment is not received in this time frame your online entry details will not be saved and need to be reentered .
3. Do not press the internet Go back one page button on the top left hand screen of your computer. You must navigate through using the buttons in GENI. If you press this button information will not be saved or remembered.
4. If your online remains idle (untouched) for twenty minutes the system automatically logs you out, but it appears as if your screen has frozen. To fix this problem log back in and the system will take you back to the page you were previously on. NB That any entries that remain unpaid or without a purchase order in the system for longer than 24 hours will not be saved.
5. We recommend that you use Firefox browser when using the GENI system. Firefox is the fastest, safest internet browser and best of all its free. Click here to download the latest version of Firefox. Please note if you use Internet Explorer - YOU WILL have problems doing your entry.

Entries close Friday 13th May.
Except for:
- Calisthenics which closes Friday 15th April
- One Act Play Festival closes Thursday 30th June
- VBL Brass Band Championship excepted.

Frequently Asked Questions
I have created an account in GENI and have not received an activation email, what do I do?
- Firstly confirm that you have entered the correct email address into GENI
- Secondly we recommend that you check your junk mail box, occasionally people have their filters set at a specific level, the activation email may be here.
- If you still haven't received an activation email please call us on (03) 5332 1054 during business hours to advise and we will rectify the situation for you.
I have incorrectly entered my user name/password and can not log into the system?
- If you enter your username/password in the system incorrectly five or more times, the system automatically shuts you out. No warning message is shown on the screen, or sent to you, you will just simply not be able to log in. If this occurs please click here and a GENI staff member will activate your account for you.
I have forgotten my password what do I do?
If you have forgotten your password to log into GENI it can easily be rest click here. Having your password reset will generate a new randomly generated password that will then be sent to your nominated email address. You will then be able to change your password once you have logged into your GENI account via the "My Home" tab.
